Night Owls Wanted: Get Paid to Keep the Hotel Running After Dark!
Compensation: Starting at $17.00 per hour
Are you a night owl who enjoys working independently but doesn’t want to do the exact same thing every night? We’re looking for a dependable, guest-focused team member to join our team in a unique overnight position that combines Night Audit and Security responsibilities.
Your weekly schedule will consist of 2 Night Auditor shifts and 2 Overnight Security shifts, giving you variety and the opportunity to learn multiple areas of hotel operations.
In this role, you’ll help keep our hotel running smoothly overnight, provide excellent service to our guests, maintain a safe and secure environment, and assist with hotel transportation when needed.
Night Auditor – 2 Nights Per Week- Welcome and check in arriving guests
- Assist guests with overnight questions and requests
- Process payments and address billing questions
- Complete end-of-day procedures and account reconciliation
- Run, review, and verify daily hotel reports
- Identify and report discrepancies
- Count and balance the cash drawer
- Create and manage guest reservations
- Assist with transportation arrangements
- Operate the hotel shuttle as needed
- Conduct regular patrols of the hotel, parking areas, and surrounding property
- Help maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and team members
- Monitor surveillance equipment and report unusual activity
- Respond appropriately to security concerns and emergencies
- Assist overnight guests when needed
- Document incidents and communicate important information to hotel management
- Follow all hotel safety and emergency procedures
- Operate the hotel shuttle as needed
- Dependable and reliable attendance is a must
- Previous hotel, front desk, or Night Audit experience is preferred
- Security experience is a plus but is not required
- Comfortable working independently overnight
- Strong attention to detail and basic accounting skills
- Professional and confident when interacting with guests
- Ability to remain calm and make good decisions when unexpected situations arise
- Comfortable learning hotel systems and software
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
- Must meet all requirements to operate the hotel shuttle
- Starting pay of $17.00 per hour
