Hotel Maintenance Technician

Working alongside our Chief Engineer, you'll help maintain our hotel, respond to guest needs, and ensure our property remains in excellent condition. If you have maintenance experience, a positive attitude, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to meet you.

Responsibilities

Assist the Chief Engineer with:

• Performing daily, weekly, and monthly inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Completing preventative maintenance in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Responding promptly to guest maintenance requests and completing repairs efficiently.
• Troubleshooting and repairing plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and other general maintenance issues.
• Maintaining hotel equipment and facilities to ensure they remain clean, safe, and fully operational.
• Keeping accurate records of maintenance work and completed repairs.
• Following all company safety policies and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.
• Delivering friendly, professional service while interacting with guests and fellow team members.
• Reporting damaged or missing hotel property to management.
• Assisting with additional projects and tasks as needed to support hotel operations.

What We're Looking For

• Valid North Carolina driver's license.
• At least one year of hotel, apartment, or general building maintenance experience.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and general repairs.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable with excellent attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to lift, bend, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and participate in an on-call rotation for emergency maintenance.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
